A strategic planning and marketing communications professional, Evette White’s education includes Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School’s Executive Program and a Visual Communications degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Evette founded a strategic communications firm in 1983, which has evolved over several decades to include a partner and offices in Nashville and Memphis. Today, the company is among the five largest marketing and advertising agencies in the state of Tennessee providing strategic planning, research, business development and integrated marketing services.
Evette’s career includes marketing firm founder/partner/CEO, SVP/Chief Strategy Officer for Ascension Healthcare’s Saint Thomas Health Services, as well as strategic planning and marketing in multiple industries with emphasis on healthcare, tourism/hospitality and consumer products. The Tennessee Department Tourist Development, George Dickel Visitors Center, Gaylord Entertainment’s Opryland Hotel, Ryman Auditorium, General Jackson Showboat, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau and South Central Tennessee Tourism Association are among her tourism industry client experience.
Recognition, honors and awards include: Business Leaders Top 50 Entrepreneur Award 2012, NBJ Executive of the Year, Addy and Telly Awards.
