Brenda McCroskey is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce, serving in that capacity since 2000. With over 25 years experience in the tourism industry, she has a background in both the public and private sector. She has worked for hotels, attractions, and convention and visitor bureaus.
A native and life-long resident of East Tennessee, she graduated from Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee. Brenda is passionate about promoting her Smoky Mountain home and insuring that Sevierville’s visitors have a positive experience.
Sevierville has seen significant changes since she stepped into her position 15 years ago. Perhaps most notable is a budget that grew from $400,000 to $4 million. Sevierville’s revenue of over $1 Billion per year has certainly aided this transition.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the Southeast Tourism Society, Tennessee Tourism and Hospitality Association, Sevier County Economic Development Council, and the Sevierville Public Building Authority.
She has been active in Leadership Sevier and East TN Regional Leadership, along with many tourism related organizations. Brenda was honored to be named 2012 Knight of the Roundtable by the Tennessee Tourism Roundtable.
